5 Years : By the Numbers
At Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women, we are leaders in obstetrics, gynecology and fetal intervention.
Here are a few stats and highlights from our first 5 years.
Today’s Pavilion for Women
Five years passed quickly! We invite you to reflect with us on how our hopes and dreams
became reality and what the Pavilion for Women represents today.
Where It Started
In 2009, Texas Children’s Hospital asked “What do women want?” when it comes to health care for themselves and their babies.
The Advisory Committee grew out of this question – assembling women in the community to talk about their own OB/GYN experiences and how they would design the ideal experience.
Research, site visits and focus groups - combined with Advisory Committee input - helped us develop the plans for the new Pavilion for Women.
